"Nature is vast, man is tiny. Therefore, man's existence depends on what kind of connection he can make with nature.” Albert Szent-Györgyi’s thoughts are still valid today as forming a responsible behaviour based on positive emotions and basic environmental knowledge is increasingly important. Education has a crucial role in this, whereby the love of nature can be taught to children from a young age. What I hear, I forget; What I see, I remember; What I do, I understand. The aim of our forest school programmes is for children and adults alike to acquire new knowledge through practical experience and observation in a natural environment.
